The single Colorado blade is a must when helicoptering. It can be fished in any and all conditions. Most widely used at night or in dark or cold water when a slow thumping retrieve is needed. However, the Colorado also shines when pulling it down the edge of a thick grass line where visibility is limited. The vibrations produced are sensed by the lateral lines on bass hiding in the grass and allow them to hone in on the bait as it passes by.
